Primay May Activity

Here are a few pictures of my sweet primary kids. We had our activity today and it turned out awesome thanks to Keri. The kids were able to make cards for their moms, frost cookies, sing songs and play games. Our activity day girls help out a lot and we love them for their willingness to serve!

BYU Women's Conference 2009

Women's conference is my favorite time of year. I love to be with my family. There is no better way to really get to know them on a spiritual level. You really feel rejuvenated after going. You go home feeling on top of the world and that you can conquer all! And I agree with Chrissy the brownies are great also...

BECCA!!!

This is my cute sister-in-law Becca Raburn. She is the greatest! Love to spend time with her. She can make any situation fun!!! For some dumb reason she has chosen not to go to our annual "Women's Conference" shindig at BYU. For this reason I have decided to tribute her on my blog! Maybe next year she will think twice about not going!

Top 10 reasons why we will miss Becca at BYU.
1. The way she pushes threw a line. (Hey we always get good seats when she comes)

2. Getting down at the "Women's Conference Concert". (It may not be a rockin concert but leave it to Becca to bust a move)

3. Her snoring! (I actually was going to borrow Burton's CPAP machine to keep her under control)

4. Flirting! (With the actors signing movies and posters. She knows what I am talking about!)

5. Takes care of Jane. (I park the car and she makes sure that Jane gets to where she needs to be. Hey wait a minute, I see now, she doesn't want to walk a mile from the parking lot.)

6. Her sisters. Bring all the Hallum girls and it's a party. (Thank goodness Missy is still coming!)

7. Crying. (She is a very sensitive girl)

8. Gets us in trouble at the hotel. We went for a donut run and she was so loud in the hallways.

9. She's the only one in our group, other than Debbie, that will do the "take, make and return". She makes us look good.

10. Her over all sweetness. (You better come next year or the next blog will be worse!)

Elder Bracken home for 6 weeks!

Just received this photo of Jordan today! This photo is of his zone in Varna, Bulgaria. It was taken a couple weeks ago. Right now Jordan is flying over the Atlantic ocean on his way home for back treatment. His mission president called us last night around 10 pm and told us he just put him on the plane. He said he is in a lot of pain but is on medication to help with the flight. Cross your fingers he makes it home safe and sound. Pres. Bennett feels that he will be back. He expressed that Elder Bracken is a excellent missionary and knows the language very well. So keep him in your prayers! We will keep you posted on his progress.

Ok, this is new for the Bracken Family. Chrissy got me hooked on blogging. I think it will help keep my family outside of Utah up to date with all the happenings of the Bracken family. So stay tuned...
